Following the success of our last event on the 1st of May, we invite you to take part in a public reading event on Saturday June the 12th at 12 to 12.30pm, outside the Central Library in Cardiff city centre. We use our love of stories and reading to question the purpose of public spaces. To see if we can claim these places as 'ours' and not just as an area we pass through to go somewhere else, bring a story, poem or piece of writing that you think is great, find yourself one of the black blocks to sit or stand on and at midday read it out loud. What we hope to create is a soundscape of reading, so that people passing by can stop and listen to one thing or wander around and sample the different things being read.
